Account Director
We are hiring an Account Director to create long-term, valued relationships with our customers. The Account Director’s primary role is to develop self generated new business. Responsibilities include account-based prospecting, closing business, developing strong relationships with customers, and preparing sales reports. You will be working closely with internal product and marketing teams to present the optimum customer onboarding experience.
Responsibilities
Create detailed business plans based on designated market segments to attain predetermined goals and quotas
Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships
Present products to prospective clients
Provide professional after-sales support to maximise customer loyalty
Remain in regular contact with your clients to understand and meet their needs
Respond to complaints and resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction and to maintain the company’s reputation
Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
Be a meticulous record keeper, able to demonstrate activity levels and current state of customer interactions at all times.
Requirements
Proven experience as a new business Account Executive, or similar sales role
Hunter mentality
Knowledge of Ori’s market domain: containerisation, multi-cloud
Previous dealings selling to Enterprise, particularly Financial Services, Government
Ability to leverage existing relationships, in order to get a quick start in role
Ability to travel accordingly. Although this is a remote-first role, travel is expected for customer visits, and regular team meetups in London.
Comfortable navigating channel partners, including system integrators
Familiarity with Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Apollo
Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
Exceptional organisational and time-management skills
